Hmmm, this is probably it, the files have unversioned .so file names, but 
versioned sonames, e.g.:
 0x0000000e (SONAME)                     Library soname: [strigila_cpp.so.0]

I guess some post-processing (maybe the BuildID processing?) gets confused by 
that. So the SONAME needs to be fixed to be unversioned.
