i have to agree with ralf here. if the librarys are dead upstream and
if they are not brought up to par with the current release of
openscenegraph they might  just vanish. Carrying old obsolete versions
around or downgrading to them is just turning the clock back to an old
state and wont fix or achieve anything besides encouraging
counterproductive behaviour like not updating the projects that
require open scene graph. It was important osg got updated.
