You're running an enterprise network in your house, I understand.
Personally, I think that's a huge amount of pain (especially for
laptops) just so that your passwords are synchronized, but I'll accept
that you want to do it =)

Anyways, you don't actually need to download the full DVD.  You can
also just download the boot.iso, and point it at a kickstart file that
has all your NIS information filled in, what packages you want, etc.
