Ah it turns out that nspluginwrapper does not work when you are using
Epiphany, even if they are using the same gecko backend.

So I have the option of using gnash and my favorite browser or be forced
to use Firefox (which I loath) and then have the option of using the
official flash plugin. Gnash fortunately has been quite good to me, sure
once in a while I have to reload a youtube page to get the videos
playing and it doesn't really support anywhere near the full range of
flash sites but it's shaping up very nicely.
