Versions >= svn3476 look in:

/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/

and will pick up any file that starts with "ifcfg-" and does _not_ end
with any of: .bak, ~, .orig, .rej

This is the same place that ifup/ifdown look for ifcfg files.
