The number also seems not not increase and there were 20-40 reviews completed
per week the last three weeks. Therefore it seems that we have at least enough
reviewers to handle the incoming packages. My proposal to reduce the backlog
would be to have review days, where reviewers meet e.g. in an irc channel,
where submitters can ask for reviewers. Then possible issues can be fixed
reasonable fast and the reviews be finished. Or even better would be to have
always an easy way to identify review request submitters, that are currently
online/will respond to issues fast. Maybe this could be done by joining an irc
channel, too. Maybe with a bot that can be queried for reviews of people in
that room.
