arial narrow is broken since Fedora 8

I'm not claiming it's Fedora-ism, sorry if it sounded this way. I only
mean that in Fedora 7 arial narrow was displayed properly, and later it
ceased to be so.
I added a comment to freedesktop bug #18725, I'm not sure if it's the
right one. Please let me know if you have places more proper to report
this (or maybe what precisely could be the source of the problem).
