Everything you say maybe true.  But I will trump your statements and
say that virtualbox will become even more useful to ALL linux users if
they work with upstream and get their kernel bits into the main line
tree.  Fedora is here as a conduit for working with the upstream
kernel... because its the right way to ensure long term
maintainability of kernel features.  Including out of tree modules
that don't have a chance to be included in the upstream kernel tree is
simply long term dead weight.
