Ok, excellent.  That's all I wanted to know!

Fair enough.  And you did make a compelling argument.

Yeah, I know it's not really supported, but for my situation (where I
don't want pulseaudio being shutdown on logout and I want all users to
be able to access it), it fits.

I expect that my bug will be at the bottom of the list, and that's not a
problem.  I'm just hoping it gets looked at sometime.
