I'm not using openSUSE anymore, but I can say:

* udev was running faster
* networkmanager too
* firefox started faster
* firefox scrolled webpages faster (even in smooth mode, which doesn't work
well for me in Fedora)
* opengl rendering were waster (eg elisa started drawing earlier, compiz
burn effect was smooth)
