default partition scheme without /home - why ?

They can still use the upgrade option and not reformat /.  Can you 
imagine the same user filling up /home and being pissed that there's X 
GB free that isn't available?  Just as plausible.  Sure, make /home a 
convenient option during interactive install, but don't make it the default.
