HP Printer getting errors

Looks familiar.  My printer is detected if plugged in.  But it won't
accept jobs and at least do them.  I even get the "is printer plugged
in" (not quoted, can't remember exactly what it tells me) message, or
something similar.  

I did look at that 40-redhat.rules file and that line from the bug
report isn't in there.
