No, you weren't. zodbot gave you the right answer, the kevin who maintains 
xfce4-panel is Kevin Fenzi, known as nirik on IRC, not me. What you missed is 
that he uses nirik on IRC and kevin in FAS.

I'm the KDE Kevin, not the XFCE Kevin. ;-)
