I have a package quite ready but it miss some dependencies.
At least some of them haven't been submitted for review until recently.
matio: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=466737

jrosetta: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=468797

jogl: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=439630
The review will also concern gluegen and cpptasks

flexdock: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=464781
I was unable to package this one without Jimi which is nonfree and
needs to be riped out.
This one is really non-trivial if doable.

There is probably a problem with some java dependencies that cannot be
compiled without others nonfree dependencies.
The nonfree choice have to be completely ripped out along with the
included "tweaked/prebuilt" jar files, so even if that's not needed
for scilab properly, we may either have nonfree dependencies, or
packages that fails to build from sources.
If such problem appears we could miss the scilab java gui.

If someone want to help, there are probably specs around that need to
be raised to the fedora guidelines:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Java

Missing Fedora dependencies:
(search also in http://wiki.scilab.org/Dependencies_of_Scilab_5.X )
- jhall also known as javahelp2 at jpackage.org is nonfree, unless
there is a replacement choice that I'm not aware, this can lead to a
problem.
- SKINL: Skin Look and Feel . it searches for a skinlf.jar
- jeuclid
- saxon
- Sablotron
- Giws
Any can pick one of theses, but please warn if you have something
close to be ready.
