Please fix #445898: slow keys turn on, lock keyboard

Hi,

Would someone PLEASE provide updates to #445898.  A fix has been known 
since end of July (and merged upstream) but to update ahs been pushed.

It's very annoying to lose your keyboard if you're unlucky enough to 
press some keys for too long!

The "gnome-settings-daemon workaround" doesn't work for those of us 
who aren't using it.
