I update to F12 rpm, it pulled in 2 other pkgs
rpm-libs-4.7.1-1.fc12.x86_64
kernel-2.6.31-0.112.rc4.git3.fc12.x86_64
rpm-4.7.1-1.fc12.x86_64
kernel-firmware-2.6.31-0.112.rc4.git3.fc12.noarch
rpm-python-4.7.1-1.fc12.x86_64

(before I knew of the updates-testing),
and then got the kernel.
