Considering:

- the 2W savings is only on a patched radeon driver, AIUI
  (although it could theoretically be ported to other drivers
  such as nouveau (not intel), given enough specs)
- the savings is only if the screen is otherwise not updating
- if the screen stays this way for more than a couple of minutes,
  the screensaver will kick in

this estimate is many orders of magnitude too high.

That being said, just flip the default already.
