Build succeeds in mock but fails in koji

OK, I found out what's going on, thanks to your trick.

For reference, in old versions of the autotools gettext detection
code, the test code fails on x86_64 with a "cast from 'char*' to 'int'
loses precision" error. As a result, gettext is not detected, and the
translations are not built.
