Ah, this slipped off my radar since it got closed.  I just tried it
now and saw the shutdown option in KDE, logging in through GDM.  Can
you reproduce the bug still?

Though logging into KDE did show some denials related to HAL's CPUFreq
interface...which looks like it's fixed in rawhide.
