You keep repeating this, as if your personal actions and situation are 
relevant.

How many existing installs out there have PK, and will get upgraded into 
insecurity?

How many admins will even known about this new F12 policy when they install?

At a minimum there should have been a big flashing warning in F12 
release notes, employing the <blink> tag, at the very top about this 
security change.
