I could easily be missing the obvious, but why is this change needed?
All of the *.c source files have:
* This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify
* it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by
* the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or
* (at your option) any later version.
The COPYRIGHT file included in the tarball states GPLv2+ as well.
So where does GPL+ come from? And what code is MIT?
