[Fedora-directory-users] Using EXTERNAL SASL authentication mechanism

Can the SASL EXTERNAL mechanism be used to support symmetric key authentication (non-Kerberos)? Is there any docummentation on how to configure it?

How about documentation on?using?the DIGEST-MD5 authentication method?
