Patrick tells me that the admonitions are not treated differently by the
Wiki.  That is, they are not identified as admonitions.  For this
reason, they do not get converted into a proper admonition in the XML.

The table hack is the only way we have of identifying, visually and
programmatically, what is an admonition.

By continuing to follow this format[1], we make it easier to do
customizations that can created a proper XML admonition from the table
markup generated out of the Wiki's XML.

So, I retract my concern about the table hack.  Carry on. :)
