problem while sending gpg key to mit key server

answer for others to learn from.

No worries if you didn't know it was a problem to cross-post; after all,
if no one ever told you, how were to find out? ;-)

What is your GPG key ID?

> gpg --export --armor alajal at gmail.com > mykey.txt
>

> gpg: WARNING: nothing exported

Do you get your key and etc. if you do:

gpg --finger alajal

Like this:

gpg --finger quaid
