Tobias Dichti is currently the owner of the project, and he replied
that he is going to add "extended burst mode synthesis" support for
DGC next year. So, I will keep track of the upstream changes as he
updates it.

IMO, we should make all tools available in FEL. Let the users decide
which ones to use depending on their requirements.
