Urgente instalar Fedora Core 2 en portatil

A ver si consigo explicarme bien. 
Mi problema es que tengo un portatil donde, tanto el cd como el diskete
son usb y cuando comienzo la instalación perfecto, pero antes de poder
elegir nada se me queda colgado, creo que es por que no consigue montar
correctamente el dispositivo y al ser un cd usb da este tipo de
problemas, ¿alguien podria ayudarme a solucionar este problemilla?
