Please don't request complete removal until the packagers depending on
sqlite have commented on whether a v2 sqlite in devel may still be needed.
Unless we get all this fixed for FE4, we should not mess with FE3.

The %prep section of the sqlite package contained a comment on the ABI/API
breakage with sqlite v3 in Rawhide. And the FC4Status page in the Wiki
still contains a comment, too.

Whether some of the GIS software, which has been worked on, needs sqlite
v2 or v3 needs to be investigated, too.

At fedora.us, sqlite v3 preparation had started prior to the first stable
release and also worked on getting sqlite3-tcl for some planned
dependencies, e.g. https://bugzilla.fedora.us/show_bug.cgi?id=2184
The sudden appearance of sqlite v3 in Rawhide has created chaos, and now
tcl support is gone, too. Ummm...
