Build system - why kill other arch builds?

Agreed.  But it would be nice to be able to override.  Especially with 
new packages it is nice to know where is builds and where it doesn't, 
esp. with developers who may not have access to other platforms. 
Perhaps a time limit?  In my case the jobs had run for 8 minutes or so 
and only needed another minute or two to finish.
