It works but its stability still leaves something to be desired. If someone was interested in helping me get off the ground I might be able to maintain the RPMs for the next year. (I've never packaged kernel modules before)

The only trick there is the kernel modules involved.

They are, umm, not fun to track when the kernel changes in core.


The correct solution is just to finish the write support in the real
Linux AFS code. All the keyring management stuff is now in, which is
mostly what we were waiting for.



That would make me even happier. But until that's done, OpenAFS supposedly works now...
