Step? Do you mean it said something like that when I submitted? In that
case, I do not remember. If you mean "step" as in what I did, I applied
for a new account (I had not yet gotten to request CVS access).

Even if I had been rejected, I would expect to have got some kind of
indication about that. :)

The fact of the matter is that I didn't even get an automated message
when I tried to sign up. Of course, I have no idea if I'm supposed to
get an automated message as part of the process, I just thought that
*if* I was supposed to get an automated message, then something has
probably gone wrong.
