I don't think it gets much simpler or cleaner than that.

Is it generally accepted that this error:

extracting debug info from /var/tmp/mercurial-0.6-1-root/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/mercurial/bdiff.so
Only dest dir longer than base dir not supported

during the find-debuginfo step of package building is to be ignored?
