I also vote for dropping "--disable-dependency-tracking" from the
configure line.

The -r option can also dropped in the following line:
  rm -rf $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{_libdir}/*.la

Everything else looks good.  Feel free to import it into the
Extras' CVS.
