you disabled extras-development  but development is still enabled.
The comps files you show is from extras-development. As a result you
are seeing the members of Engineering and Scientific from the Core
development tree.

Assuming you have a normal yum configure for the development tree.  If
you want to just see the members from extras development you would do:

yum --disablerepo=development groupinfo 'Engineering and Scientific'

Core has a comps file  and Extras as a seperate comps file.  Yum
merges groups listed in both files.  Look at the Enginnering and
Scieintific group definition in both these files:
