Request for review: keychain opt-in mechanism

Hi all!

Starting a new thread about keychain and especially the requested opt-in
mechanism I like to request reviewing my fresh new script suggestion.
The old thread is to be found as

https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-extras-list/2005-July/msg00593.html

I am starting with a fresh new thread to focus on what the past
discussion brought up to be helpful within the package.

Ed Hill thankfully approved my presented keychain src.rpm on 13th - now
as some of you (namely Chip Turner, Ed Hill, Ville Skyttä) voted for an
ease of use mechanism I beg for criticising following:

http://www.uni-x.org/README.Fedora
That file shall inform Fedora users about the mechanism which isn't
part of the upstream keychain tool/package.

http://www.uni-x.org/keychain.sh
http://www.uni-x.org/keychain.csh
Those 2 scripts are to be placed in /etc/profile.d/. Please review
and test them. It is needed to `touch ~/.keychainrc' or to fill that
file with custom setting, to let the profile script doing their work.
keychain is needed of course too; my formerly presented src.rpm is still
available through

http://www.uni-x.org/keychain-2.5.4.1-1.src.rpm

Chip, you were so kind to have a close look at my last week's script -
hope you have more joy with this attempt.
Paul, you suggested to let /etc/profile.d/ call a wrapper script for the
keychain ssh-agent wrapper. I tried to went that route but it was even
more complicated to take care for all the possible shells a user can
have.
My suggestion now should work with bash, sh, csh, tcsh and zsh. With
those I tested myself and didn't found a problem. So far I didn't test
with ksh (KornShell) available through Core.

Alexander
