I could package ksynaptics as well.
But the only difference between ksynaptics and qsynaptics is that k* does 
integrate with the kde system, while q* is a stand alone application.
Featurewise they are exactly the same.

Thus k* is maybe not the right choice for gnome users.

but hey, if there's demand, I'll happily package ksynaptics as well.
