Regular post-approval commits would not be tied to any db/bugzilla ticket.
It would be quite a burden if we didn't have a quick way of being able to
comment on cvs commits as they fly by. And simply hitting "reply to" is
a quick way. The need to visiting a database would be a hindrance.

The increasing traffic on extras-commits list, however, will likely be
seen in a similarly bad way as "bugzilla spam", which fills a folder
quickly and requires more effort [or procmail work] to find the
relevant/interesting replies. I believe it's not a problem yet, and there
are more important things...
