For Sourceforge.net, there exist URLs of the form

 http://dl.sf.net/%{name}/%{name}-%{version}.tar.gz
 (long = http://download.sourceforge.net/%{name}/%{name}-%{version}.tar.gz )
 
which point to sf.net mirrors in round-robin fashin and don't lead you to
that HTML based mirror selector page of prdownloads.sf.net. These URLs
can be used with wget/curl.
