Hi Rudy,
The history of the netCDF packaging efforts are archived for your

My view is that the current arrangement is entirely usable (even if it
might be less-than-perfect) and I'm not at all interested in having
another "where-do-the-files-go" re-hash. So, unless theres an actual
bug or a violation of Fedora Extras policies [which I trust Michael
would point out--hes very astute! ;-)], I'm in no hurry to shuffle
things around.
