Well, if you're still interested in maintaining it, you now become the
default maintainer for the software in Fedora world. Same thing happens
with Debian... If you're however not interested in maintaining it,
mention that its become an orphan, and is dead upstream and see if
someone else wants to take over it

But how we should deprecate packages in general is a good thing to
discuss...
