I don't know the exact underlying issue, but iirc -- without it %
find_lang complains complains about not being able to find any language
files or something of the sort (only on certain archs/fc versions).  The
aclocal && autoconf workaround was suggested by Jeremy.  I can try
rebuilding it without them and get you the exact error message if you
are interested in helping to track the issue down.
