Usually you list the top level package. Say you want widget. You list
widget, but not all the deps that widget may have.

Or if you have package widget, which has widget-devel widget-gui and
widget-common, you might put widget-devel in a development group, widget-gui
in a X Desktop group, and maybe widget in whatever group it belongs in
depending on what it does. -common will probably be a dep of every other
widget package (same with widget package itself) so no matter where the user
selects, they would end up getting part or all of the subpackages of widget.

Clear as mud?
