What is /cvs/extras/devel for?

Because it has not been asked frequently. ;)

It is the main repository for packages built for "Fedora Extras
Development", i.e. Extras built against Fedora Core Development.
With a new release of Fedora Core, a branch copy of the Extras "devel"
tree is created, like FC-4, FC-5, FC-6.
