alterMIME license

The license for alterMIME:

is basically a BSD license but has been tweaked slightly by the author (in
fairly unexciting ways that don't fundamentally change the drift of it as
far as I can see; it doesn't add any restrictions that would impact FE
users)

The license is not listed explicitly on gnu.org/opensource.org.

As it stands, is this a candidate for FE under the BSD license, or would
it need to be explicitly approved as open source/GPL-compatible by
opensource.org/GNU?
