packages without %description

How important is a for a package to have a %description field? I just
encountered one, and the question is if I should search for more
packages and file bugs, or should I assume the packagers will add the
description when they'll have the time?

Or to ask the question the other way around: How could a package pass
the review process if it didn't have a description field?!
