No. It sets a precedent that representative governance is the way the
Fedora Project is going to be run in the future.

Are there going to be other Steering Comittee/Board Elections? If the
Fedora Advisory Board starts having elections as well, it might be nice
to have less elections at the Steering Comittee level (in terms of voter
burnout).

I think Contingent Candidates should be handled a bit different as the
way we did it this time was a bit confusing. Perhaps encourage the
candidates to throw their hat in the ring without contingencies.
Perhaps if open seats < number of non-contingent candidates put the
contingent candidates in the election and hold them to wherever they end
up in the voting; otherwise take them off the ballot entirely.
