libtar users headsup

As some of you may have noticed from my CVS commits, I'm taking over a
bunch of packages from Anvil, because Anvil has other priorities then FE
 ATM.

One of these packages is libtar. Before taking over I've done a quick QA
check of all the packages which involved amongst other stuff running
rpmlint. rpmlint on libtar gave some spurious messages because libtar
normally only build a static (.a) lib.

The buildsys has just completed building a new libtar for devel which
contains a proper .so file, with soname, 100% PIC etc. So I would like
to ask all maintainers who maintain a package which uses libtar to build
and then test it against the new libtar in devel.
