According to the python-numeric/numpy people, pygame is SOL until the
pygame people update it to use numpy... :)

But work-arounds include a -compat package as Axel suggested or possibly
including a local copy of arrayobject.h in pygame (which might make more
sense than building a compat package if pygame is the only package that
needs it).
