gnome application menu troubles

Hi,

I just received a bug report titled: "ScummVM is in the Other menu
instead of the Games menu", see:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=215097

Which reminds me that I wanted to bring up some issues with the gnome
applications menu:
1) Applications which have a Catagories=Emulators; show up on the other
menu while Emulators is a valid freedesktop Catagory, dribble fixes
this with a special dribble-menus package which adds an Emulator
submenu to the applications menu. Would it be ok to move this package
to FE and require it from packages like scummvm and hatari, or should
this be posted as a patch against the core gnome package?
   See: dribble.org.uk
2) The games menu doesn't have submenu's like the kde one has, which
makes it harder to use then necessary when you've got lots of games
   installed. Questions:
2a) Is it possible to create submenu's under the Games menu using the
similar techniques as used in the dribble-menus package
2b) Would it be ok to use this to create a seperate
gnome-games-sub-menus package, as I don't think we want this to
be the default in the core gnome menus package.
2c) Or can this be done in such a way that the submenus only get
enabled if the number of games exceed a treshold?

Regards,

Hans
