R modules packaging?

Hello,

I have proposed a spectemplate file for rpmdevtools here:

I'd like to use some R packages, but I haven't used R before, so maybe 
it would be better if other packagers took them. I am interested in mFilter
and dependencies:

mFilter tseries pastecs locfit tseriesChaos RTisean tsDyn forecast

Anybody willing to maintain some of them in extras?
