	IMHO, Once per release is very far from enough.

	Ideally something as 'make tag' + 'cvs commit would be perfect.
	But in the mid time may be a cron task to update it every week
	should be good enough.

	I checked the comps logs and seems to me a lot of 
	adds/changes... so that file matter to developer...
	Keeping comps alive AND updated will help every Linux
	user to spot the needed utility/application rather
	than brows endlessly within tons of extra applications.
